Key Points on the Installation and Use of Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Deep groove ball bearings, as general-purpose basic components, are widely used in motors, fans, automation equipment and other fields; their installation and use directly determine the operational lifespan of the equipment.
During installation, the use of excessive force or hammering is strictly prohibited to prevent deformation of the bearing raceways and balls. Care must be taken to ensure a precise fit between the inner ring and the shaft, and between the outer ring and the housing bore, to guarantee that the bearing is correctly centred and concentric. This prevents issues such as abnormal noise and overheating caused by eccentricity or misalignment. The installation environment must be kept clean to prevent dust and contaminants from entering the bearing, which could lead to premature wear.

Lubrication is key to ensuring the stable operation of bearings. Select the appropriate grease or lubricating oil based on rotational speed, load and operating conditions; for grease lubrication, the bearing should be filled to between one-third and one-half of its internal capacity, as overfilling can easily lead to increased temperatures. At the same time, check the lubrication condition regularly and top up or replace the lubricant in a timely manner.
During routine operation, monitor changes in bearing temperature, vibration and noise levels, and shut down the equipment immediately for inspection should any abnormalities arise. By managing equipment loads appropriately and avoiding prolonged operation under excessive loads, you can effectively extend bearing service life and enhance the stability of equipment operation.
